To differentiate this type of fuction,use product rule
which states that

dy%2Fdx=u%28dv%2Fdx%29%2Bv%28du%2Fdx%29
let u=x^2--------->du/dx=2x
v=3x+1-------->dv/dx=3
put the above into the formula
dy%2Fdx=%28x%5E%282%29%2A3%29%2B%283x%2B1%29%2A2x
dy/dx=3x^2+6x^2+2x
dy/dx=9x^2+2x
