You can put this solution on YOUR website!

a pizza at £2.85 and sell it at £8.29:
2.85%2B%28x%2F100%292.85=8.29
%28x%2F100%292.85=8.29-2.85
%28x%2F100%292.85=5.44
2.85x%2F100=5.44
2.85x=5.44%2A100
2.85x=544
x=544%2F2.85
x=54400%2F285
x=190.88%
the percentage of profit is 190.88%

hi,
Recall that Profit=selling price-cost price
i.e,
P=s.p-cp
but s,p=£8.29,c.p=£2.85
Therefore,
P=£8.29-£2.85
p=£5.44
Now,%tage profit= (5.44/100)%
=0.054%
The percentage profit is 0.054%
HOPE THIS HELPS;...
