Recall that Profit=selling price-cost price
i.e,
P=s.p-cp
but s,p=£8.29,c.p=£2.85
Therefore,
P=£8.29-£2.85
p=£5.44
Now,%tage profit= (5.44/100)%
=0.054%
The percentage profit is 0.054%
