I have been struggling with this question.
It is :
Completely factor x^3-3x^2-6x+8 and then set it to zero and solve for x.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the roots of the polynomial. Use synthetic division to test the roots, -1,-2,-4,-8,1,2,4,8. You should find remainders to be 0 when you test for -2, or 1, or 4. Finding any one of these through synthetic division gives a resulting quadratic factor as the quotient, easily solved through factoring.
