Put both equations into the same form, your choice of which form, but both into THE SAME form.

---
6x-3y=2
That is simplified, now in standard form.

y-2x+4=0
-2x+y=-4
Or
2x-y=4

The system is these:
system%286x-3y=2%2C2x-y=4%29
These lines are parallel.
NO points of intersection.
First one is slope -6%2F%28-3%29=2;
Second one is -2%2F%28-1%29=2.

No intersection. The two lines are different, but parallel.
