Two Angles are Supplementary when they add up to 180 degrees.
Complementary Angles add up to 90°.
if one angle is alpha, its supplement is 180-alpha and its complement is 90-alpha
if the supplement of an angle measures 11 times its complement, then we have
180-alpha=11%2890-alpha%29
180-alpha=990-11alpha
11alpha-alpha=990-180
10alpha=810
alpha=810%2F10
highlight%28alpha=81%29°
so, alpha=81° , its supplement is 180-alpha=180-81=99 and its complement is 90-alpha=90-81=9

your answer is: B. 81 degrees

.
x=the angle; complement=90-x; supplement=180-x
.
180-x=11(90-x)
180-x=990-11x
180+10x=990
10x=810
x=81 ANSWER: The measure of the angle is 81 degrees. B is correct.
