You may also use the following formula tn=a%2B%28n-1%29%28d%29 where tn is your term number that you are trying to find, a is the first number of the sequence, n is the number of which the term in order (ex 17 is n#2 and 22 is n#3) and d is the common difference (d=t2-t1) This formula is more helpful for trying to find say, the 800th term.
