Question 981491: Noah is practicing basketball. He scored a three-pointer on his 7th shot, and from then on he makes a three-pointer in every 8 shots. How many three-pointers does he make from his 33rd shot to his 100th shot?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! This one I would do without algebra.
He makes a 3 pointer
15,23,31,39,47,55,63,71,79,87,95.
He makes 8 after his 33rd shot.
There are 68 shots from the 33rd, so 9 is possible, but making one on his 31 makes it impossible.
