I'm going to assume you meant to put an "x" in there after the -1/3 coefficient.
So you equation y=-1%2F3x%2B6 follows the standard equation for a line.
y=mx%2Bb where m defines your slope and b defines your y intercept.
In your equation the m is -1/3 and the b is 6.
