Elimination is a good way to start. More than one way to go about it.

Skipping some steps, equivalent system is
2x+6y+10z=0
2x+6y+10Z=-8
10x+10y+10z=-20
The first two equations are of parallel lines!

You must have made a copy transpose mistake. The system will not have a solution to satisfy all three equations.
