You are given an equation

2x+-+5+=+3%2Fx.

First,  multiply both sides by  x.  You will get

2x%5E2+-+5x+-3 = 0.

Now factor the quadratic polynomial in the left side:

2x%5E2+-+5x+-3 = 2%2A%28x-3%29%2A%28x%2B1%2F2%29.

(check it!)

Hence,  the roots are x%5B1%5D = 3 and x%5B2%5D = -1%2F2.
