Question 979595: I'm trying to find the amplitude, period, phase shift, and midline of the following problem:

y=2sinθ-2

You can put this solution on YOUR website! amplitude is 2, the distance above the mean. The sine may vary between -1 and +1
The period is 2 pi, because theta can vary between 0 and 2 pi, If it were sin 2theta, then the period would be compressed.
It is shifted down to y=-2, so the function has a range between -4 and 0.
This is a sine function that begins 2 units below the origin, reaches 0 at pi over 2, -2 at pi, and -4 at 3pi/2, before returning to -2 at 2 pi
