Then a 10.9 ft elephant will
cast a shadow=
7.5/10.9 = 42/x
Cross multiply
7.5x = 10.9 x 42
so x = 10.9 x 42/7.5
The shadow = 61.04 ft
= 61 ft (to nearest tenth)
