You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need to know the following:

(1). cot%28theta%29=cos%28theta%29%2Fsin%28theta%29
(2). csc%28theta%29=1%2Fsin%28theta%29
(3). cos%5E2%28theta%29%2Bsin%5E2%28theta%29=1,
     (a) its rearrangement as cos%5E2%28theta%29=1-sin%5E2%28theta%29
     (b) cos%5E2%28theta%29=1-sin%5E2%28theta%29 is factorable as the difference of
       squares as %281%5E%22%22-sin%28theta%29%29%281%5E%22%22%2Bsin%28theta%29%29
   (c) That the factor %281%5E%22%22-sin%28theta%29%29 will become (b) if multiplied
       by its conjugate  factor %281%5E%22%22%2Bsin%28theta%29%29

To prove:

%283cos%28theta%29cot%28theta%29%29%2F%281-sin%28theta%29%29+-3%22%22=%22%223csc%28theta%29

Us (1) on cos(θ)

Work with the left side.

Use (3c) to make the denominator become %281%5E%22%22-sin%28theta%29%29 by multiplying
top and bottom by its conjugate:

Divide top and bottom by cos(θ)

%283%28cot%28theta%29%29%281%2Bsin%28theta%29%29%29%2Fcos%28theta%29++++++-3

Change division by cosθ as multiplying by 1/cosθ

%283%28cot%28theta%29%29%281%2Bsin%28theta%29%29%29%2A%281%2Fcos%28theta%29%29++++++-3

%283%281%2Bsin%28theta%29%29%29%2Fsin%28theta%29++++++-3

%283%2B3sin%28theta%29%29%2Fsin%28theta%29++++++-3%2F1

Get the LCD:

%283%2B3sin%28theta%29%29%2Fsin%28theta%29++++++-3sin%28theta%29%2Fsin%28theta%29

%283%2B3sin%28theta%29-3sin%28theta%29%29%2Fsin%28theta%29%29

3%2Fsin%28theta%29%29

3%2A%281%2Fsin%28theta%29%29

Use (2)

3csc%28theta%29
