12/x-1 divided by 6/x
[12/x-1]x(x-1)divided by [6/x]x(x-1)

Dividing by an number is same as multiplying by the inverse of the number
so we have
%2812%2F%28x-1%29%29 * %28x%2F6%29
12x%2F%286%28x-1%29%29
2x%2F%28x-1%29

ANSWER BY EDWIN McCRAVY

12 divided by x-1 divided by 6 divided by x

12%2F%28x-1%29÷6%2Fx

Invert the second fraction and change the ÷ to ·

12%2F%28x-1%29·x%2F6

Multiply the tops and bottoms:

%2812x%29%2F%286%28x-1%29%29

Cancel the 6 into the 12 and get 2:

%282x%29%2F%28x-1%29
