Question 977858: Please help! I'm taking a quiz and cannot figure this one out! If someone could just explain for the first n, I can do the second :) Thank you!
At a new exhibit in the Museum of Science, people are asked to choose between 50 or 100 random draws from a machine. The machine is known to have 60 green balls and 40 red balls. After each draw, the color of the ball is noted and the ball is put back for the next draw. You win a prize if more than 70% of the draws result in a green ball. Use Table 1. (I can look up the z-scores).

a. Calculate the probability of getting more than 70% green balls.
For n= 50
n= 100

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the normal approximation of the binomial distribution, find mu, sigma and then the z score for both N=50 and N=100.
