You can put this solution on YOUR website!
distance covered by the faster runner in 3 hours
= speed * time
=9.2 miles/hr * 3hr
=27.6 miles
slower runner is 4.8 miles behind
therefore distance of the slower runner from the start after 3 hours
=27.6 miles - 4.8 miles
=22.8 miles
Speed of the slower runner = distance / time
= 22.8/3
=7.6 miles/hr
