You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the number of Goats=x
Then no of Chickens=50-x
Total No of legs of Goats=4x
Total No of legs of Chics=2(50-x)
adding both we get
4x+2(50-x)=140
4x+100-2x=140
4x-2x+100=140
2x+100=140
2x=140-100
2x=40
x=40/2=20
So Number of Goats=20
Number of Chickens=30
