You can put this solution on YOUR website! y^2-6y+9/-(y^2-4) div by Y^2-9/Y^2-8y+12 ;
factor
{(y-3)^2/-(y+2)(y-2)}* (y-6)(y-2)/(y+3)(y-3). I inverted the second in order to multiply.
you may cancel a (y-2) and one (y-3)
-{(y-3)/(y+2)} {(y-6)/(y+3)}
That is one form. One may rewrite it with one numerator and one denominator. Remember the minus sign, which I brought out front. If there were a (3-y) somewhere, I could cancel again, but there is not.
