You can put this solution on YOUR website! The phase angle for the sine curve y = a sin(bx + c) is usually taken to be the value of c and the phase shift is given by −bc.
We are given,
y = 3 + 4 sin (3x - 0.5)
therefore
phase angle is -0.5
