Make width = x
Length is = x + 22
Perimeter = 2 x width + 2 x Length
188 = 2x + 2(x + 22)
188 = 2x + 2x + 44 (Multiply out)
188 = 4x + 44
188 - 44 = 4x
144 = 4x
x = 36
Width = 36 inches
Length = 58 inches (x + 22)
