Set up formulae for two plans:
1st plan = 12 + n(0.19)
2nd plan = 24 + n(0.15)
make them equal one another:
12 + n(0.19) = 24 + n(0.15)
Collect like terms
n(0.19) - n(0.15) = 24 - 12
n(0.04) = 12
n = 12/0.04
n = 300.
Plans cost the same when 300 minutes have been used.
The cost when the two plans equal one another
= $69.
