Question 975559: Determine the critical region and critical value(s) that would be used to test the following hypotheses using the classical approach when Fsolid black star icon is used as the test statistic.
(b)
H0:σ1^2/σ2^2=1 vs Ha: σ1^2/σ2^2≠1,with n1 = 41, n2 = 41, and α = 0.05
critical region F < ? or F > 1.875
Originally had -1.875 for the first region but was marked incorrect, I don't understand.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your critical values are not correct.
For dof1=dof2=40, F=1.6928
