Question 975270: What is the surface area of a cylindrical ring if its outside diameter is 16 mm and its inside diameter is 10 mm? Round your answer to the nearest whole number.
A. 92 mm2
B. 118 mm2
C. 123 mm2
D. 385 mm2
For this question, I keep trying it and I get 122.52 as my answer. So, I round it and get C. 123 mm^2. However, this is the wrong answer. Please help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Can you identify what is missing from the problem description? You asked about a CYLINDRICAL ring.

To be very plain, the description is incomplete and the question is not answerable. How do you expect to answer a question about surface area for something cylindrical shaped if you have no way to find the missing height?!!
