To find the Height of an isosceles triangle, use the formula:

h+=+sqrt%28a%5E2+-+%28b%5E2%2F4%29%29 where b = base, a = sides

h+=+sqrt%2826%5E2+-+%2820%5E2%2F4%29%29

h+=+sqrt%28676+-+100%29%29

h+=+sqrt%28576%29%29 = 24

Therefore, the height = 24 cm.
