Question 97500: I'm in Algebra II and we have an algebra I review packet. The directions say to factor the polynomial. The two problems are 2x^3+4x^2+8x and 24w^12+64w^8.
I don't remember doing this in Algebra II. Please help. Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! factor the polynomial. The two problems are
2x^3+4x^2+8x
=2x(x^2+2x+4)
The quadratic factor can be factored with the help
of the quadratic formula but I'm not sure that is
what you want.
=================
24w^12+64w^8
= 8w^8(3w^4+8)
