I've been trying to solve the following:
Find f•g•h
f(x)= x^1/2, g(x)= x/(x-6), h(x)= x^1/9
I know how to do it - f(g(h(x))) - but I can't seem to get it down to lowest terms.
This is what I got so far:
[x^1/9/(x^1/9 - 6)]^1/2

The only thing there is to try with this is to rationalize the denominator, and that path gets you nowhere.

Depending on what computations or processes that you intend after this point, you might want to leave it with fractional exponents throughout,



Or perhaps organize a campus protest against ugliness in mathematics.
