I will solve number 2.

Repost number 1 for someone else to solve.

Solve for x: x+3/12 = 6/x-3

Cross-multiply to remove fractions.

(12)(6) = (x+3)(x-3)

72 = x^2 - 9

0 = x^2 -9 -72

0 = x^2 - 81

0 = (x-9)(x+9)

Set each factor to equal zero and Solve

individually for x.
x-9 = 0
x = 9

Then x + 9 = 0.

x + 9 = 0
x = -9

The values of x are -9 and 9.
