Good idea.
a%5E2+%2B+b%5E2+=+c%5E2 c is the hypotenuse

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Pythagorean Theorem is a² + b² = c²
a and b are the legs
c is the hypotenuse {the side across from the right angle}

5² + b² = 13² {substituted given sides into the Pythagorean Theorem}
25 + b² = 169 {evaluated exponents}
b² = 144 {subtracted 24 from each side}
b = 12 {took the square root of each side}

The other leg is 12
