Question 973768: You scored the following grades on your first three math tests: 71, 78, 81. You only have one test remaining. What is the highest possible test average you can get? Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The highest score on the last test is presumably 100.
Add 100 to your current total, and you get 330. That divided by 4 is 82.5
Average is total/number.
total is number*average.
You can work both ways to deal with such problems.
