You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Here's the graph:
+graph%28+400%2C+400%2C+-6%2C+6%2C+-6%2C+6%2C+log%28+2%2C+x%2B1+%29+%2B+2+%29+
The graph goes through ( 0, 2 ) since
+f%280%29+=+log%28+2%2C1+%29+%2B+2+
+f%280%29+=+0+%2B+2+
------------------
+x+ can never be more negative than +-1+ since
that would mean a log which gives you a negative number
which is impossible
--------------------
As +x+ approaches +-1+, +f%28x%29+ becomes more
negative since
+log%28+2%2C+0+%29+ = minus infinity
------------------------------
When +f%28x%29+=+0+
+0+=+log%28+2%2C+x%2B1+%29+%2B+2+
+log%28+2%2C+x%2B1+%29+=+-2+
+2%5E%28-2%29+=+x+%2B+1+
+1%2F4+=+x+%2B+1+
+x+=+-3%2F4+
which seems to agree with plot
Hope this helps
