Listed are the durations, in hours, of a simple random sample of all flights of a shuttle program. Find the range, variance, and standard deviation
for the range I got 388-70=318 (round one decimal place as needed).
for the range zero is not a number, so am I right by assuming that I go to the next smallest number?
I did not think it is needed to round the decimal place
how do I find the variance and standard deviation? Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! No, the range is the maximum value minus the minimum value.
You can't arbitrarily throw out data without good reason and supporting evidence.
For variance, first find the mean.
