You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the average of 27-x, x-8, and 3x+11 is y,
what is the average of 2y and If+the+average+of+27-x%2C+x-8%2C+and+3x%2B11+is+y%2C+%0D%0Awhat+is+the+average+of+2y+and+2y/3}
----
Average = [27-x + x-8 + 3x+11]/3 = y
------
[3x+30]/3 = y
x + 10 = y
-------
2y = 2x+20
And (2y/3) = (2/3)(x+10)
-----
Ans: [2x+20 + (2/3)x + (20/3)]/2 = [(8/3)x+(80/3)]/2
----
= (4/3)x + (40/3)
OR
= (4/3)(x + 10)
