x/5+x/15+x/50=43 •This is the equation.
(150)x/5+(150)x/15+(150)x/50=43(150) •Get the lcd which is 150.
30x+10x+3x=6450 •Multiply the lcd to the numbers.
43x=6450 •Combine like terms.
x=150 •Divide the 43x by 43 to have the x
and the 6450 by 43, then you'll have
the final answer.
