Question 971144: AN angle is one half the size of its compliment, one-fifth the size of its compliment and one-eleventh the size of its reflex angle. What are the measurements of the angle, its compliment, its supplement and its reflex angle
1/2 size of compliment = 45 (90/2)
1/5 size of its supplement = 36 180/5)
1/11 the size of its reflex???

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
angle is x
x=(90-x)/2
x=(180-x)/5
x=(180+y)/11
Look at the first two:
(90-x)/2 =(180-x)/5
Cross-multiply: 450-5x=360-2x
3x=90
x=30
Complement of x=60 degrees, and x is half of that.
Supplement is 150 degrees, and x is 1/5 of that.
Reflex angle is 330 degrees, and reflex angles are only between 180 and 360 degrees, which is where y comes in. It is a different variable.
