Question 969774: if log8 x=1, then x=
what is x
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! log to a base of something raised to what goes after the equals sign is the x.
log to base 8, raised to the 1 power is 8^1=8
log 10 (100)=2.
10^2=100.
It's like a circle. You go from base to the answer, using the answer as the exponent, and curve back around to the number after the base.
Remember log 10 (100)=2, and you can do this for all problems.
