You can  put this solution on YOUR website! log to a base of something raised to what goes after the equals sign is the x.
 
log to base 8, raised to the 1 power is 8^1=8
 
log 10 (100)=2.
 
10^2=100. 
  
It's like a circle.  You go from base to the answer, using the answer as the exponent,and curve back around to the number after the base.
 
Remember log 10 (100)=2, and you can do this for all problems.
