Graph this. The y-intercept is 5, and the slope is steeply negative.
Now, for the inequality, the easiest way is to see whether the origin belongs in the inequality or not.
So, put 0 for x and 0 for y into the equation.
0<=5. This is true, so you would shade the area to the LEFT of the line, where the origin is, and you would include the line, since it is <=.

Test with other points. 3,3 12+3<=5 ? No. So 3,3 should be out of the shaded area and is on the opposite side of the line.
If the line happens to go through the origin, test with (1,1) (3,0) (0,3) or something similar.
