You can put this solution on YOUR website! $2 per hour is the same as 2 * x where x is the number of hours.
since there is a $2 deposit regardless of how many hours you rent the bike you would + 2 to the equation.
x is a variable because the number of hours will vary. you can rent it for 2 hours, or 3 hours, or 4 hours.
The number can change many times.
the $2 deposit will never change. this is considered a constant. because it is constantly the same.
if you wanted to rent the bike for 4 hours it would cost you $10
