You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28x%5E2-a%2Fx%29%2F%28a%5E2-a%2Fx%29 Start with the given expression

%28x%2Fx%29%28%28x%5E2-a%2Fx%29%2F%28a%5E2-a%2Fx%29%29 Multiply the fraction by x%2Fx

%28x%2Ax%5E2-x%2Aa%2Fx%29%2F%28x%2Aa%5E2-x%2Aa%2Fx%29 Distribute

%28x%5E3-a%29%2F%28x%2Aa%5E2-a%29 Multiply

Since you don't have an equal sign, you don't have an equation to solve.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x^2-a/x)/(a^2-a/x)
= [(x^3-a)/x] / [(a^2x -a)/x]
Invert the denominator and multiply to get:
= [[(x^3-a)/x] * [x/(a^2x -a)]
Cancel the common "x" factor in the numerator and denominator to get:
= (x^3-a)/(a^2x-a)
