You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A man sold an almirah at a profit of 7 1/2% had he sold it for Rs.209, he would have lost 2%. for how much the man purchased it.
let purchase cost is x rupees
sell price at 2% loss will be 0.98x equal to 209
0.98x=209
X=209/0.98=213.26
sell cost at 7.5% profit will be 213.26x1.075=229.26
cost price 213.26
sell price at profit 229.26
