Question 96779: i need help with this problem- question is: the smallest angle in a triangle is half the largest angle. the middle angle measures 30 degrees less than the largest angle. find the measures of each angle. Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let L=largest angle L/2=smallest L-30=middle
L+L/2+(L-30)=180
multiply 2 times both sides. 2L+L+2L-60=360
Combine terms and add 60 to both sides. 5L=420
divide 5 intoboth sides. L=84 L/2=42 L-30=54
Check:
84+42+54=180
