24 students can finish the jigsaw puzzle in 2*24/12=4 hours.

No. Of hours 12 students take to complete a jigsaw puzzle = 2 hours
No. Of hours 1 student takes to complete a jigsaw puzzle = 2*12
= 24 hours
No. Of hours 24 students take to complete the jigsaw puzzle = 24/24
= 1 hour
