You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%2280%25%22=80%2F100=0.8 and %2220%25%22=20%2F100=0.2
If the grade for the final is x ,
that would give you an average grade of
0.8%2A101%2B0.2x=80.8%2B0.2x
For an an average grade of 94 you need x to be the solution to
80.8%2B0.2x=94
Solving:
80.8%2B0.2x=94
0.2x=94-80.8
0.2x=13.2
x=13.2%2F0.2
x=66
Of course, you may be able to count on rounding,
so you may have to solve
80.8%2B0.2x=93.5 , whose solution is 63.5 ,
meaning that a 64 on the final would still give you an A.
