If the student paints  4%2F5  of the room in  1%2F2  of the hour,  which is  30 minutes, she paints  1%2F5  of the room in  30%2F4 = 7.5 minutes.

Hence, it will take  5*7.5 = 37.5 minutes to paint the entire room.
