multiply the denominators of both sides times both sides.
5(x+5)=3(2x-3)
5x+25=6x-9
subtract 5x and add 9 to both sides. x=34
Check:
5%2F%28%282%2A34%29-3%29=3%2F%2834%2B5%29
5/65=3/39
1/13=1/13
