-7=(2/3)x+5 I will assume this is the equation.
-21=2x+15 Make life easier. Multiply each side times 3. No more fraction!
-36=2x subtract 15 from each side.
x=-18 divide 2 into each side.
Check:
-7= -18(2/3)+5
-7= -12+5
-7= -7
