You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are 25 students names in a hat. You choose 5 names. Three are boys names
and two are girls. How many of the 25 names would you expect to be boys names?
Here is how we think it out:

3 names OUT OF the 5 names are boy's names.

"OUT OF" means "OVER". <--IMPORTANT! REMEMBER IT!

3 OUT OF 5 means the fraction 3 OVER 5 or 3%2F5.

So we would expect 3%2F5ths of the 25 names to be boy's names.

3%2F5ths of 25 is 3%2F5%22%D7%2225%22%22=%22%2215 students.

So we would expect 15 of the names to be boy's names.
