Question 963840: The angle of depression from the top of the building to a car parked in the parking lot is 32.5 degrees. How far from the top of the building is the car on the ground, if the building is 252 meters high?
I am not sure what it is exactly looking for? Please help! Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Imagine you are at the top of the building.
Your line of sight is parallel to the ground.
Then you lower your line of sight until it
is +32.5+ degrees lower than it was.
------------------------------------
The angle that your line of sight now
makes with the building is the complement
of that angle, +90+-+32.5+=+57.5+ degrees
---------------------------------------
I can say:
+cos%28+57.5+%29+=+h+%2F+d+
+d+=+h+%2F+cos%28+57.5+%29+
where +h+ = height of building
and +d+ = distance from top of building to car
-------------------
given: +h+=+252+ m
+d+=+252+%2F+.5373+
+d+=+469.012+ m from top of building to car
