K=H+16yrs Use this to substitute for K.
K=2H+9yrs Substitute for K from above.
H+16yrs=2H+9yrs Subtract (H+9) from each side.
7yrs=H ANSWER 1: Hannah is 7 years old.
K=H+16yrs=7yrs+16yrs=23yrs ANSWER 2: Kayla is 23 years old.
