You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = -3*sin(x) is in the form y = A*sin(Bx-C) + D

where
A = -3
B = 1
C = 0
D = 0

The amplitude is |A| = |-3| = 3

The period is T = 2pi/B = 2pi/1 = 2pi
